Dr. Kang Wu has been a Fellow at the East-West Center since 1993, and conducts energy and economic research with a focus on the Asia-Pacific Region and China in particular. He specializes in studies of energy policies, security, demand, supply,trade, and market developments, as well as energy-economic links, oil and gas issues, and the impact of fossil energy and particularly transportation fuel consumption on the environment. He supervises the China Energy Project at the Center. Dr. Wu's work also includes energy modeling and Asia-Pacific energy demand forecasting.
